realized that all the infrastructure based on chips and
designs that you stole was now 100% suspect and could blow
up at any time.
Well, it sure didn't help. It took them several years to
rebuild the pipeline. But, I think the stinger missile was
what ultimately brought them down, as well as "Star Wars"
ie. Reagan's SDI.
It was said some time ago by a major US computer scientist
that their copying the IBM 360 as their BESM 1060 set their
computer industry back a full decade.
