I used early Quick C and TurboC interchangeably for quick and dirty tasks
(NOT for retail products). I settled on TurboC for teaching beginning C
classes when Borland started making free download available. But, I also
REQUIRED each student to write at least one homework assignment using a
command line compiler (I recommended GCC and DeSmet "PersonalC")
Quick C and QB were _completely_ different product
lines and languages.
What was the relationship to "EDIT" in MS-DOS?
