bent so bad it broke off. Not the usual thing though -
I see a lot of RJ11
telephone plugs stuck into the RJ45 network card jacks. Boy that does a
number on the NIC and the phone system. 
        What gets me going are the people who plug CAT5 cable into
IPX phone system jacks.  It tends to create a nice little spark/flash
due to the the voltages from the phone system and the short caused by
the cable.  Generally does a number on modems that some unlucky
person plugs into the same jack.
