   DSpace from MIT.  It wasn't really designed for this sort of thing,
but I've been experimenting with it off-and-on for about a year for
indexing chip datasheets and app notes, and my initial results are very
positive.
   A few years ago I was fortunate to get all the hardware that the
project was started on (a bunch of big HP machines), otherwise I'd
probably not have known of its existence.
