Having written some of my own BIOS extension code, this comes as no
surprise. But I was speculating about the likelihood of a "custom"
becoming a de facto standard. In other words, it seems that all VGA/EGA
adapters put BIOS code at C000:0, but are the authors of any OS or PC BIOS
sufficiently benighted to insist that it always must be at that location?
