Kermit? Is there a serial port on the PDP-11 and another machine
local with a serial port? (Or, can I take all the fun out of the
project....)

I'm not a RSTS Guru, however, to network
using DECnet you'd have to find a
copy of DECnet/E V2.0, which isn't the
easiest thing to obtain. The other
problem is, you'll need supported hardware.
