The only HP things from which I've ever extracted
useful work are my
plotters
and printers. The HP CAE system we had when I was in
the aerospace

HP had scavenged from all over the country. I've
never seen a
DEC/Compaq thing
I liked. I must have observed these companies at the
wrong stages in
their
respective evolutions.
