I'm also in the UK, but I have a fair range of
minicomputers and the odd
workstation. Not all UK collectors like micros...
I appreciate that but I think its fair to say that probably the majority of UK
collectors are micro-based!
I'm not normally interested in games, but the Vectrex is one console I
spent real money on. Reason ? It's got the right CPU (68A09) and a vector
display. Vector displays are fun...
Bloody great machine and in good nick the screen is incredible. Wish I had one boxed
:(
Err, there are some other UK people on this list. And I am not sure how
my collection (a dozen PDP11s, a couple of PDP8s, a couple of VAXen, a
Sun, 4 PERQs, 3 P800s, an HP2100, and a lot of micros, of course),
differs from some US collections.
Well you're probably in a moniroty but, as for arcade collecting (yes, I dabble in
this too!), the US guys get a better share of the goodies, and generally get the
really juicy goodies too. Still... looks like a nice collection mate, I'm jealous!
