Ah.  Feel free to bonk me on the head.  Though I think I could clean them
without damaging them, I understand that it would probably add more risk
than it would take away.  I think I just might leave the core planes dusty
and see what happens.
I give many thanks to all who have participated in this thread.  I'll fire
