Then I suppose you were asking for a cross assembler *targeting* the
PDP-10? I have never heard of such an assembler from the 70's.
Supposedly the initial PDP-6 software was cross assembled from a PDP-4,
but I think that's lost. The only modern PDP-10 cross assembler I know
of is written in Erlang, but I'm guessing it doesn't support macros.
