assembler from time to time. I've used ARM assembler in my
work recently.
Last time I used assembler was to create an unpacking
routine on the PRU of a BeagleBone computer (200 MIPS 32-bit
microcontroller aux processor.)
It unpacks run-length encoded pixel data on a photoplotter
in real time. 5 us between pixels, and the PRU is just loafing.
